PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

CEM 805 ACTIVE is a hydrophilic, solvent free adhesive and sealant based on polyurethane for the sealing of construction joints, pipe penetrations and certain special site applications.

The outstanding adhesion and filling characteristics ensure safe and reliable cavity filling even on damp and uneven surfaces.

It swells (min. 200%) and hardens in contact with water vapor causing permanent sealing with long-lasting adhesive strength and waterproofing properties.

CEM 805 ACTIVE can be applied to concrete, PVC, HDPE, and steel

Main areas of application:

  • Sealing of even and rough construction joints in in-situ cast concrete
  • Sealing of joints between pre-cast segments (e.g. walls, cable ducts and pipe penetrations)
  • Sealing of connections between steel beams and concrete floor slabs
  • Sealing between rough surfaces and concrete slabs; bonding of waterstop tapes and injection hoses
  • Sealing of tie bolt holes
